Adam Hancher
This evening I‘ve decided to present something simply beautiful: two good friends from Great Britain Jack Hudson and Adam Hancher.
Adam Hancher
These two young illustrators are friends not only because they know each other in reality, but also because of the stylistics of their works. After discovering A.Hancher‘s landscape of the Arctic, which has been decorating my desktop for two weeks already, it didn‘t take me long to come across his partner J. Hudson.
I got quite puzzled after setting eyes on their quite similar works and techniques, but I found some differences after going deeper into them, which totally separates the two painters.
Although J. Hudson has some illustrations resembling A.Hancher’s, he stands out with his sense of humour and sarcasm in his works. While A.Hancher is sticking to a steady pace and technique, a simple but constant composition prevails in his illustrations, the motives are mystical, sometimes cosy in a romantic way, suitable to illustrate children‘s books.
